Experience
John has 35 years of land surveying experience. His work experience began with the Washington State Department of Transportation, which started with an intensive three month study program at the University of Washington focusing on route surveying, design, and materials quality control. In his 12 years with the WSDOT, John worked in highway engineering with project engineers on highway design and construction preparing plans, specifications and estimates. Following his 12 years with WSDOT, John was employed with McKay and Sposito, a land surveying firm in Kennewick, Washington. In 1977, John joined Crossman & Associates, the predecessor to Skagit Surveyors, of which he has been a principal of for the last 21 years.

As a principal with Skagit Surveyors, he has supervised all types of survey projects.
